Talia Portraits | 2025
I recently met up with Talia in Birmingham, AL, for a portrait session. Talia, an incredible and inspiring person/performer, allowed me the honor of making portraits of her to celebrate her continued sobriety. Oftentimes, when subjects aren’t entirely comfortable in front of the camera, it takes them time to warm up. Sometimes, they never fully warm up to the camera, and it tends to show in the images. However, Talia was different. She was a natural (despite claiming nerves) and such a joy for my wife and me to chat with during the session.
Below are twelve of my favorite images from the shoot (plus a bonus). I hope to work with Talia again.
